📝 WEEKLY PROMPT

What if one rule quietly shifted?

This week, disturb the architecture of a world.

The rule may be public or private. A statute. A social contract. A family code. A law of physics. The shift can be global or intimate.

Stay attentive to causality. A rule is a structure. When it moves, something else must bear the weight.

You might approach this through speculative fiction, realist narrative, lyric essay, satire, poem or even drama. The form is up to you.

This weekly companion prompt is free and open to everyone. No submission required.

If you’re writing toward the March contest, consider this prompt one entry point into the theme.

Happy writing!
